Meet Gloria

A portrait, family and editorial photographer based in Taunton, Somerset, and a mum who knows how quickly the ordinary seasons pass.

YÒSÍRÉ grew from my love of photography, storytelling and the belief that ordinary seasons of life deserve to be documented too. Whether I'm photographing a child with a personality bigger than their little body, a mother rediscovering herself, a family growing together or a woman building something of her own, I'm interested in creating photographs that feel honest, considered and timeless.

For me, photography has never been just about taking a beautiful picture. It's about noticing the little details you might not realise you'll miss one day: an expression, the way light falls, the personality that comes through when someone finally relaxes in front of the camera.

As a mum myself, I understand how easy it is to let life pass by without pausing to capture it. That's one of the reasons I believe photographs matter, whatever stage of life they're taken in.

With families and children, I love the wonderful unpredictability: the cheeky smiles, the serious faces, the moments in between the poses. With personal editorials and portraits, I love helping someone see themselves the way others see them: confident, striking, unmistakably themselves. For branding work, I bring the same care for genuine, unposed moments to whatever your business calls for.

You don't need to know how to pose, and you don't need to be a model. I'll guide you when it helps and step back when the real moments start to happen. If it's useful, we can start with a quick pre-shoot consultation to talk through the look and feel you're going for.

Then you get to relax. Your finished images are carefully edited and delivered through a private online gallery, ready to be kept.
